F/2.8, 1/13 second

A dead monarch butterfly. I really like how the color popped out of this one. I REALLY wish I had gone down to ground level and taken a shot parallel to the ground. Oh well, maybe next time I’ll be quicker on my feet!

Night shot of Chapel

Well, I had to do a night shot as well. It’s not as cool as the one Chance posted, but hey– I gave it my best shot.

I bought a tripod and I was aching to try it out. So I took this. The chapel’s across the street from me, it was about 10:30, and I let the settings go on auto except for the exposure time, which was 15 seconds. Enjoy.

Shutter Priority

I usually mess around in “auto” or “manual” modes, but today I tried playing around with shutter priority. This is fifteen seconds with +2 compensation. I wish I knew what that meant, but maybe I’ll learn…
